Rachel is an Assistant Psychologist who has worked in a variety of clinical and forensic inpatient and community settings, supporting adults and children with a range of mental health difficulties.
Rachel has experience working with children and young adults with restrictive eating and ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder). This includes assessing and managing risk, providing parent/carer support and psychoeducation, delivering graded desensitisation, and facilitating dietary expansion using a range of evidence-based approaches and techniques.
In addition, Rachel has experience supporting individuals with ASD, ADHD, low mood, anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Personality Disorders. Rachel has experience working with D/deaf and Hard of Hearing patients and is well-versed in British Sign Language.
Rachel is capable of delivering both online and face-to-face therapy, conducting school observations, and working with Teams Around the Family. In addition, Rachel is able to provide reports, assessments, and formulations to obtain a comprehensive insight into the presenting needs and difficulties of her clients.
