Training on attachment and trauma, Autism and ARFID

Children and young people with difficult attachment experiences or trauma, particularly in their early life can present with behaviour that challenges and have difficulty forming positive relationships. This can cause significant difficulties in a school environment.

Wren Psychology can provide either a 3 hour training session or two 1.5 hour sessions (perfect for twilight sessions) to schools on understanding these difficulties, how these may have developed and best practice strategies (based on evidence based research) for managing these challenges in a classroom situation.

Training is also available on understanding Autism and how to support young people with ASD diagnosis and traits in a school environment. In addition we offer training to schools on understanding ARFID and support eating and feeding in school.
