Psychological and Neurodiversity Training for Schools and Organisations

Wren Psychology provides professional training for schools, organisations and teams seeking a deeper understanding of neurodiversity and psychological wellbeing. Training sessions are delivered by HCPC registered Clinical Psychologists and can be tailored to meet the needs of educational, healthcare or workplace settings. Sessions may explore topics such as ADHD, autism, learning differences, ARFID, emotional wellbeing and supporting neurodivergent individuals. Training can be delivered in person or online across the UK.

Children and young people who have experienced attachment difficulties or early trauma may present with behaviours that challenge and may find it difficult to form positive relationships. These challenges can create significant difficulties within school environments.

Wren Psychology offers training for schools to help staff better understand these difficulties, how they may develop, and evidence-based strategies for supporting children and young people effectively in the classroom. Training can be delivered as a three-hour session or as two 1.5-hour sessions, which can work well as twilight sessions.

We also offer training on autism, ADHD and neurodiversity, focusing on practical ways to support young people in educational settings. In addition, training is available on ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder), including understanding feeding and eating difficulties and how to provide appropriate support.

An example of training content is available here, although we are always happy to discuss bespoke training packages tailored to the needs of your school or organisation.
