Emily McGrath

BSc Psychology 
 

 

Emily is an Assistant Psychologist with a variety of clinical experience working children, adults, and older adults.

Emily has a background in supporting individuals with various mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, eating disorders and psychosis. Emily has also worked in specialist areas including neurodiversity, working with individuals with ASD and ADHD, and neuropsychology, working with individuals with brain injury and neurological disorders. 

 

Emily has had specialised training for trauma informed work and has gained skills in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behaviour therapy (CBT). Additionally, Emily is proficient at completing a variety of cognitive and psychometric assessments.

 

Emily is competent at writing individualised reports and formulations to help individuals, families and other professionals to better understand their strengths and difficulties. Emily is available for both online and face-to-face therapy and is also able to facilitate school observations as required.
