From the minute my daughter walked in the room, I could see she instantly felt at ease and would be comfortable to open up!
Rachel is simply fantastic and I will be forever grateful for the difference she is making to Olivia!
Her warmth, care, and genuine enthusiasm to understand Olivia and help her is truly wonderful! What an incredible lady and a huge asset to the team at Wren Psychology

After waiting 18 months for an NHS ADHD diagnosis, with no follow up support other than the offer to be put on another long waiting list for medication, we approached Wren. After discussing our options of support we decided to have a consultation with Claire, who is a pharmacist prescriber as we were keen to explore the use of medication. After an online consultation in which Claire met with my daughter and explained our options, we decided on a care plan that would suit her needs. We are currently trialing medication with the support of Claire who has been available via email should we have any follow up questions or need to arrange additional meetings. I have been impressed with the ease in which we have been able to access this service and feel safe that we are exploring medication with the support of Claire who is clearly very knowledgeable regarding the subject.

We approached Wren Psychology for a Dyslexia assessment. Our daughter was apprehensive but Michelle was very approachable and made her feel at ease straight away.
The assessment was comprehensive and the report we received was thorough and informative. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the service.

I first heard of Wren Psychology through a close friend. My son had started to become very anxious and overwhelmed by a variety of worries and with no tools or ways of naming the feelings he was feeling, he wasn't sleeping and was upset or angry a lot of the time. I had tried my best, but I was out of my depth with advice, and his tears, anger and hopelessness were having a detrimental effect on my own mental health as well as my child's. With the help of Wren Psychology, specifically Dr Sarah Mardell, my son has made huge progress. Not only is he now able to identify his feelings, he can ascertain whether a worry is actually his worry to take on or whether he can start to let it go, he is much happier, he is sleeping better and is now able to better regulate his temper and his tears when needed to help him remain calmer when talking about his worries, fears or issues. He is so thankful to Dr Mardell and the great work that her and her colleagues undertake at Wren Psychology. The whole process was delivered at his level, he never felt as though he was being talked down to or that there was something wrong with him. He was given tools and techniques to help him identify feelings and manage his reactions to them. And he found a new friend and confidante in Dr Mardell, someone with whom he could be much more open and honest with, without parental-bias or thinking that he may cause upset. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, I have my little boy back, but a little boy who is much more confident, open and happy.
